PRESS RELEASE – Werner Park, home of the Omaha Storm Chasers, will host a public Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, January 22nd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the club announced Monday. The event will feature free food, prizes, appearances by the Storm Chasers new mascots Stormy and Vortex and the opening of the team’s “Storm Front” gift shop and new ticket office.
“We are excited for the opening of the Storm Front and for fans to be able to see Werner Park,” said Martie Cordaro, the Storm Chasers Vice President and General Manager. “Ticket packages will also be available for the first time, giving fans a great reason to visit Werner Park.”
Fans of all ages will have the opportunity to tour Werner Park, getting their first chance to pick out seats for the upcoming season and view the sightlines from different areas of the ballpark.
