The City of Cedar Rapids (IA) plans to spend $150,o00 to make repairs to nine-year-old Veterans Memorial Stadium, home of the Single-A Cedar Rapids Kernels. The funds will be used to fix a leaky roof, drainage problems, and replace field lighting.
