PRESS RELEASE – The Eugene Emeralds announced today the hiring of new Assistant General Manager Sarah Heth. Heth joins the Ems with a 10-plus year history in Minor League Baseball. The addition of Heth makes the Eugene Emeralds front office one of the more diverse front offices in Minor League Baseball.
2011 will be Sarah’s 11th season in minor league baseball. After graduating from St. Norbert College with a degree in psychology and communication, Sarah joined the independent Joliet JackHammers as their Director of Community Relations and Promotions. Since then, she has worked for the Lake Elsinore Storm (San Diego Padres High-A affiliate) as their Director of Game Operations, Norfolk Tides (Baltimore Orioles Triple-A affiliate) in corporate sales and promotions, and-most recently before coming to Eugene-with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Milwaukee Brewers Single-A affiliate) as their Director of Corporate Marketing. She has also served as on-field emcee for six of her 10 seasons.
Sarah is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin.
