Earlier today, Northern League Commissioner Clark Griffith indicated that the league would have interleague play with the Golden Baseball League and United League Baseball. Schaumburg Flyers and Lake County Fielders owner Rich Ehrenreich is now saying that the the leagues will merge to form the new North American League. An official announcement is expected Wednesday.
