Tucson Toros owner Jay Zucker, who also owned the Triple-A Tucson Sidewinders before they relocated to Reno, told Baseball America magazine that he would be willing to put his Golden Baseball League club on “hiatus” to run the Triple-A Portland Beavers in Tucson, while the team awaits a new ballpark in Escondido.
