The future of the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees isn’t getting any brighter, as John McGee, the former solicitor for the Lackwanna County Multi-Purpose Stadium Authority, stated that a failure to challenge the sale of the Yankees would be “the equivelent of spitting in the faces of every resident in Lackwanna County.” As previously reported, Mandalay has an option to purchase the franchise until Oct. 1 for $13 million.
