Cheney Stadium: Thanks for the Memories!

The Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers played there last game at the current Cheney Stadium on Thursday night.  The News Tribune staff writer John McGrath takes looks back at the 50-year-old stadium that brought Triple-A ball back to Tacoma after a 55-year hiatus.  No need to cry though, the field will remain as Cheney is renovated in the off-season.  Read more here.
