Next Phase Begins Soon for Sugar Land Name the Team Contest

The time period for submitting names for the new Atlantic League franchise in Sugar Land (TX) ended on Friday.  The contest will soon enter “Extra Innings” when five to seven finalist team names will be announced.  Fans will then be asked to select their favorite team names among the finalists by ranking their top three choices in order of preference. By mid- September, 2010 the team name and contest winner will be announced.  Learn more here.
