Gems Name GM

PRESS RELEASE – After a nationwide search, the Klamath Falls Gems have named Chuck Heeman as the club’s first general manager. Heeman most recently served as general manager of the Yuma (AZ) Scorpians of the Golden League. Prior to that he spent almost three years as operations manager for the Arizona Diamondbacks, where he was responsible for Chase Field operations. Heeman also served as operations manager of Major League Baseball’s Arizona Fall League, assistant general manager of the Newark (NJ) Bears of the Atlantic League, and general manager of the Cook County (Ill) Cheetahs of the Frontier League.
