PRESS RELEASE – Clipper Magazine Stadium is ready to rock! The Lancaster Barnstormers are hosting its first-ever Battle of the Bands competition on Sunday, August 15 at 6 p.m. Ten bands will compete in between innings for a chance to win $1,500, the first place title of the 2010 Barnstormers Battle of the Bands and other various prizes.
Barnstormers are now seeking bands of all genres to compete in this one-of-a-kind event! Bands who are interested in participating should submit a biography of their band along with a demo CD or MP3 to:

The deadline to submit your band is 5 p.m. on Friday, July 16. Bands that are interested in performing should be aware that Clipper Magazine Stadium is a family-friendly venue.
The Battle of the Bands lineup will feature 10 bands, each of which will have 90 seconds to perform in between innings during the Barnstormers and York Revolution game. At the end of the night, fans will vote for their favorite. Each band will be given a promotional code for discounted tickets to help promote their performance and the event to their fans. Bands will be required to bring their own equipment and participate in a sound check the morning of the event. Illusion Sound and Lighting will provide sound production during the event.
