Still Hoping for Pro Baseball in Montreal

Alan Schwarz from the New York Times discusses the challenges of bringing pro baseball back to Montreal, including the reality that there is no existing stadium to house a team.  Former Montreal Expos outfielder and broadcaster Marc Griffin has been trying to bring baseball back to Montreal for years.  He says he has found the perfect location for a new 4,500-seat Can-Am League ballpark across the St. Lawrence River in the eastern suburb of Langueil, but political challenges abound.  Read more here.
