Andrews Field, A Resting Place for the Fallen

Andrews Field, the home of professional baseball in Fort Smith (AR) until 1953, was torn down in May to make room for expansion of the nearby U.S. National Cemetary at Fort Smith.  If an old historic ballpark must be sacrificed for the greater good, perserving a resting place for America’s fallen heroes certainly passes muster with us.  Read more here.  Thanks to KB from Arkansas Diamonds for the story.
