PRESS RELEASE – Tonight before the Aces’ game @ 7 p.m. against the Brazos Valley Bombers, the Aces will launch one lucky fan around 6:45 in a hot air balloon (weather permitting) likely over downtown Alexandria. The fan will be with a licensed hot air balloon pilot as they get to see Alexandria and the ballpark from a view never seen before @ Bringhurst Field.
Fans will have to be there prior to 6:30 to be placed into a drawing to win the free hot air balloon ride.
Next Tuesday, June 15th, the Aces will host Purple & Gold Night, as the two LSU players signed to play for the Aces this season, Chris Cotton and Matt Fury, will make their first appearance in an Aces’ uniform. All fans supporting the LSU Tigers in Purple and Gold that evening will receive $1 off all tickets. LSU Alumni will be able to gather on the field prior to the start of the game to show their support of LSU and Cotton and Fury and pose for a group photo to be displayed on the Aces’ website, www.myacesbaseball.com.
