Festivities at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium begin Tuesday night during the Wingnuts’ home opener versus the Sioux Falls Pheasants. The first 5,000 fans at the ballpark receive a free 2010 Wingnuts magnet schedule, courtesy of Great Clips and P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. The first of six postgame fireworks shows at the ballpark will take place after the game.
On Friday, May 21st versus St. Pau, the first 5,000 fans at the game receive a commemorative 2010 Wingnuts schedule poster, courtesy of Dignity Memorial and COX Communications.
Multicultural Night, presented by the Midwest Transplant Network and Entercom Radio, returns for a second straight year on June 6th. A selection of performances will take place before, during, and after the game, highlighting diversity in Wichita. A fireworks show tops of the night.
The Wingnuts pay tribute to last July’s hail storm by giving souvenir batting helmets to the first 1,000 fans at the park on July 2nd, courtesy of American Family Insurance.
The Wingnuts hold their second bobblehead promotion in as many seasons on July 10th. The first 1,000 fans at the park receive a Spinner the Squirrel, courtesy of Big Fish Bail Bonds.
July 25th is the Wingnuts’ first ever Youth Jersey Night. The first 1,000 fans 12 and under receive a replica Wingnuts’ jersey, courtesy of Papa John’s and Genghis Grill.
Four special appearances by world renowned acts are on tap for May 29th (Myron Noodleman), June 19th (B-Boy McCoy), July 9th (Rally), and August 27th (Cameron the Super Fan).
The Wingnuts host several “Buy-In” nights throughout the season, the first of which is presented by Top’s China Buffet and New China Buffet on Monday, May 24th. Fans can head to either location to receive a complimentary general admission voucher for the contest. Other Buy-In dates are courtesy of Credit Union of America (June 6th), American Family Insurance (June 9th), Arby’s (June 22nd), QuikTrip (June 23rd and August 17th), Texas Roadhouse (June 29th), Great Clips (July 13th), and TECU (July 14th).
Fans can take advantage of two weekly drink specials at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. Shiner Bock “Beer-for-a-buck” returns for every Tuesday home game, courtesy of Standard Beverage. Each Thursday, the Wingnuts host a “Thirsty Thursday” special featuring 12oz domestic drafts for just $2.00
“Wienie Wednesday” returns for each Wednesday home game. Fans can enjoy 100% all-beef hot dogs for just $2.00 every Wednesday night.
Sundays are “Family Fun Days” presented by Hiland Dairy, who will pass out free ice cream to fans as they leave the ballpark.
