PRESS RELEASE – With all April home games concluded, the Storm look forward to May for their unique brand of baseball and promotions. The Storm play 16 games at home in May that are split into three homestands.
The first homestand runs from Tuesday, May 4th to Thursday, May 6th. The short three game homestand features the Storm and the Inland Empire 66ers (Los Angeles Dodgers California League affiliate) as they go head-to-head at The Diamond. Promotions for the games include Fat Tuesday, Family Wednesday and Thirsty Thursday. In addition to these weekly promos, the Storm will also celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Wednesday, May 5th at 6:05pm, followed by Firefighter Appreciation Night on Thursday, May 6th at 7:05pm. Ask the ticket office about Firefighter discounts for that game as well.
Homestand number two in May brings two series to Lake Elsinore when the Storm play host to the Lancaster Jethawks and the Stockton Ports. The homestand will run from May 14th to May 20th and will include some of the best promotions of the year such as the 2nd Annual American Mustache Night on Friday, May 14th, National Pizza Party Day on Tuesday, May 18th and Big Lebowski Night, combined with a sleeved blanket giveaway, scheduled for Thursday, May 20th at 7:05pm.
For the third and final homestand of May, fans can enjoy all seven weekly promotions starting with Family Wednesday on May 26th and ending with Fat Tuesday on June 1st. The big promotion of the last May homestand is the return of the highly successful Red, White and Blue Weekend. The four-day Memorial Day weekend homage to America will include such events as fireworks, a classic car show and a Memorial Day 5K/10K Run/Walk around the levy situated just outside the front gates of The Diamond.
