The Gwinnett Braves have announced giveaways, promotions and entertainment for the club’s homestand April 27 – May 4.

– 12Stone Tuesday Charity Nights – The Gwinnett Braves and 12Stone welcome the Hope Clinic. The Hope Clinic is a non-profit, primary care internal medicine clinic founded in 2002 to address the need of the working poor to access affordable, primary care in Gwinnett County.

– KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets – The G-Braves and KRAFT Singles have teamed up to offer fans a steal of a deal on Tuesdays! Wednesday, April 28 – Norfolk Tides vs. Gwinnett Braves, 7:05 p.m. – James Parr vs. Chris Tillman

– Webkinz Giveaway – The first 1,000 kids 12 and under in attendance will receive a Webkinz Groundhog. The loveable plush pets come alive online in Webkinz World with a unique Secret Code.

– Health and Fitness Night – Summer is around the corner and the G-Braves are here to Pump You UP! On this fitness focused evening staff members will be in their finest fitness apparel, the video board will show fans fitness tips and videos, fans will take part in a flex contest and the team will highlight healthy ballpark food options such as black bean burgers, salads and veggie dogs.

Thursday, April 29 – Norfolk Tides vs. Gwinnett Braves, 7:05 p.m. – Chris Resop vs. Jake Arrieta

– Thunderstix Giveaway Presented by CSS – The first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive a pair of co-branded Thunderstix courtesy of CSS.

Friday, April 30 – Norfolk Tides vs. Gwinnett Braves, 7:05 p.m. – Todd Redmond vs. Brad Bergesen

– Button Night – The team will pay homage to Button Gwinnett. Button Gwinnett was an English-born American political leader who, as a representative of Georgia to the Continental Congress, was the second of the signatories on the United States Declaration of Independence. He was also, briefly, the provisional president of Georgia in 1777, and Gwinnett County was named for him.

– Tennis Toss – Following the game fans will have the chance to win prizes by throwing tennis balls to targets on the field. The tennis balls will be sold for $1 during the game. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Gwinnett Braves division of the Atlanta Braves Foundation.

– 50/50 Raffle – Volunteers from the Gwinnett Daily Post will sell 50/50 Raffle Tickets to raise money for their Relay For Life team. One lucky fan will go home with half of the pot, with the other half going to the American Cancer Society and the Braves Foundation.

Saturday, May 1 – Pawtucket Red Sox (Boston Red Sox) vs. Gwinnett Braves, 7:05 p.m.

– Jason Heyward Bobblehead Giveaway Presented by Charter Business and Charter Communications – The first 4,000 fans in attendance will receive a Jason Heyward bobblehead courtesy of Charter Business and Charter Communications.

– Tennis Toss – Following the game fans will have the chance to win prizes by throwing tennis balls to targets on the field. The tennis balls will be sold for $1 during the game. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Gwinnett Braves division of the Atlanta Braves Foundation.

– 50/50 Raffle – Volunteers from Charter Business and Charter Communication will sell 50/50 Raffle Tickets to raise money for one of the company’s signature charities. One lucky fan will go home with half of the pot, with the other half going to a Charter Business and Charter Communication charity and the Braves Foundation.

Sunday, May 2 – Pawtucket Red Sox vs. Gwinnett Braves, 2:05 p.m.

– Chopper’s Clubhouse Day – From special prizes and contests to members only in-game features, this day is all about Chopper’s Clubhouse members! All kids club members receive half-price tickets and 10% off at Niekro’s every Sunday and have a VIP line for postgame Race Around the Bases. Visit gwinnettbraves.com to join the official kids club of the Gwinnett Braves.

– 10th Man of the Game – Stephen Dupuis and Matt Turner, co-founders of Defy Thirst, will be honored in a pregame ceremony.

– Race Around the Bases – Fans 12 and under are invited to run the bases following the game.

– Chick-fil-A Family Toss – Families are invited to play catch in the outfield following the game.

Monday, May 3 – Pawtucket Red Sox vs. Gwinnett Braves, 7:05 p.m.

– Item of the Homestand – The Gwinnett Braves Nike Duffle Bag is the item of the homestand in the team store at Coolray Field. The bag will be sold for $25, normally priced at $55.

– Engage Gwinnett – The team will host Engage Gwinnett in the Super Suite that evening. Engage Gwinnett is a citizen-led initiative where committee members will spend approximately six months looking at the community’s needs for current and future government services and proposing funding strategies to pay for those services over the next five years.

Tuesday, May 4 – Pawtucket Red Sox vs. Gwinnett Braves, 7:05 p.m.

– Cuatro de Mayo – For fans that can’t wait for Cinco de Mayo, the G-Braves are celebrating early at Coolray Field!

– LifeSouth Blood Drive – LifeSouth Community Blood Centers will host a blood drive at Coolray Field from 4 – 8 p.m. For more information, call (888) 795-2707 or visit lifesouth.org.

– Matt Tavares Visit – Author-illustrator Matt Tavares will visit Coolray Field. Tavares will provide copies of his newest book, Henry Aaron’s Dream, to giveaway to the first 200 kids in attendance. Tavares will throw out the first pitch and sign his book during the game.

– 12Stone Tuesday Charity Nights – The Gwinnett Braves and 12Stone welcome Family Promise. The mission of Family Promise of Gwinnett County is to mobilize communities of congregations that partner with social service agencies to end homelessness – one family at a time.
