PRESS RELEASE – The Frederick Keys, Advanced Class-A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles have announced its promotional schedule for the 2010 season. Whether it’s the area’s best fireworks shows, year long weekday promotions or great giveaways, Harry Grove Stadium will be host to more than just a game in 2010.
“We look forward to continuing to bring great entertainment value to the region,” Keys Director of Marketing Katy Fincham said. “Our promotional schedule is diverse enough to allow our fans to enjoy a unique experience each time they attend a Keys game.
Opening night 2010 is Tuesday, April 13th as the Keys host the Myrtle Beach Pelicans at 7:00 p.m. Every night in April the first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a 2010 Keys Magnet Schedule presented by Amerigas.
Dotting the promotional schedule are firework shows on every weekend night game throughout the season. The first of 25 shows follows Friday, April 16th’s game against Lynchburg.
Weekly promotions fill the schedule all throughout the campaign. Every Monday night will be Kids Eat Free Monday with all kids ages 12 and under receiving a voucher for a free hot dog, chips and soda. Every Tuesday will be a Guaranteed Win night. If the Keys should lose, each fans ticket will be good for a Monday through Thursday home game. Sunday is Sunday Funday presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods as fans can play catch in the outfield grass and grab Keys autographs one hour before game time. Other year long promotion include the Kids Courtesy Admission program which allows all little leaguers ages 12 and under a free ticket if entering with their team uniform and hat every Monday through Thursday home game. Kids will also be allowed to run the bases presented by Complete Chiropractic after all 70 games.
Don’t forget the free stuff! Keys giveaways frequent the schedule as well in 2010. The Keys will continue its local celebrity bobblehead series as Bryan Voltaggio, chef of Volt in downtown Frederick, will be featured with the first 1,000 fans receiving the bobblehead giveaway Tuesday, July 27th. Volt will also run a concession stand that will raise money for the charity Share Our Strength on that night.
