After the new NECBL team in Bristol (CT) ran into a little intellectual property trouble with logo development for the Bristol Nine, the team was renamed simply the Bristol Collegiate Baseball Club. With or without the blessing of the team ownership, the Bristol Herald and the New Britian Press launched a fan poll to name the team. The Bristol Legends was the top vote getter and will be the name used by the papers this coming season. Read more here.
