Quakes Unveil Promo Schedule and New Site

PRESS RELEASE – With just 13 days remaining until the start of the regular season, the Quakes have pulled the curtain off of the 2010 Promotional Schedule.

This season’s promotional schedule provides Quakes’ fans with more affordable family entertainment then ever before, highlighted by 13 “Fireworks Nights”, six “One Dollar Family Feast Nights”, 11 “Buffalo Wild Wings Thirsty Thursdays” and a number of different giveaways.

Giveaways slated for 2010 include Allstar KIA Magnet Schedules, City of Rancho Cucamonga Recycle Mugs, Quakes Baseball Cards sponsored by KFROG 95.1, U.S. Bank Quakes Hats, Quakes Team Photos, as well as Allstar Kia Torii Hunter Bobblehead Dolls.

Nightly promotions throughout the week include Grand Slam Mondays, where one fan could leave The Epicenter with $1000 after a Quakes’ grand slam. Tuesdays will again be GIVE Recycle Tuesdays, where fans can bring 10 bottles or cans to The Epicenter for a free Tuesday night ticket. On six Wednesdays throughout the season, six different Quakes Player Magnets will be given away to 1,000 fans in attendance. Thirsty Thursdays return, thanks to Buffalo Wild Wings and X-103.9, as fans will enjoy beer and soda for just $2 each. Six select Fridays will be $1 Family Feast Nights. The first of which will take place on Friday, April 23rd, as fans can score hot dogs, ice cream sandwiches and sodas for just one dollar each, thanks to 99.1 KGGI.

Saturday nights mean Fireworks at The Epicenter, as fans will be treated to a post-game Fireworks Spectacular after 11 Saturday games, thanks in part to Studio Dental, Best Western Heritage Inn, Wawanesa Insurance, Millennium Systems and KOLA 99.9.

Kids around the Inland Empire can get excited for all the kid-geared promotions in 2010! The first three Sundays of the season will feature U.S. Bank Youth Baseball Clinics, where kids with a ticket to the game will receive free baseball instruction and autographs from Quakes players and coaches. Education Days, on April 28th and again on May 10th, will see kids from area schools taking a field trip to The Epicenter, participating in various activities and learning exercises around the ballpark. Kids will also “Run the Bases” at the conclusion of every Radio Disney Sunday game and other various games at The Epicenter, thanks to My Gym.

Three different Jersey Auctions, three “Bark in the Pallpark” nights, sponsored by Terra Vista Animal Hospital and AM 1510 The Spa, our inflatable friends from the Spitball Gang and finally, a post-game concert on August 6th round out this year’s Promotional Schedule.

Aside from a sharp new look, the site now allows fans to not only buy single game tickets, but Full Season and Mini-Season Ticket Plans as well. Thanks to the Quakes’ continuing partnership with BAM (Baseball Advanced Media), fans will enjoy an Expanded Game Center once the season begins, along with other exciting additions.

Don’t forget that the Quakes are in action against Azusa Pacific University on April 6th, then open the 2010 regular season opener on April 8th, against the Inland Empire 66ers. The Season Opener includes our first Buffalo Wild Wings Thirsty Thursday, with $2 soda and beer. Everyone will also enjoy a Post-Game Fireworks Celebration in honor of Opening Day.
