The summer collegiate West Coast League’s Wenatchee (WA) AppleSox have outgrown Paul Thomas Stadium on the campus of Wenatchee Valley College. Over the past couple of years, AppleSox owner Jim Corcoran has been working a deal that would allow his team to relocate to 73-year-old Recreation Park. While the tough economy has hampered his fundraising efforts, Corcoran is laying the groundwork for $5 to $8 million in renovations to the ballpark that would make this move a reality.
