PRESS RELEASE – The Forest City Owls and the Coastal Plain League have unveiled the 2010 All-Star Game logo. This year’s All-Star Game will be played at McNair Field July 19 and 20. Tickets are available through the Owls office at (828) 245-0000.
The Coastal Plain League Home Run Derby and Fan Fest will take place on Monday July 19 and will feature 16 of the league’s best hitters. Fans will also have the opportunity to meet the All-Stars and collect autographs. The All-Star Game will take place Tuesday July 20 at 7:05 pm and will feature the best talent the CPL has to offer.
Current season ticket holders may purchase their seats for the All-Star event at the Owls office or by calling (828) 245-0000. All-Star tickets will go on sale to the public May 1. Box seat season tickets are currently on sale for the 2010 season, and include 18 NCAA games this spring at McNair Field, including games featuring Gardner-Webb, Appalachian State, and Western Carolina.

The Forest City Owls are the reigning Coastal Plain League Petitt Cup Champions. The Coastal Plain League is the nation’s hottest summer collegiate wooden bat league.
