Senators’ Staff Returns to City Island

PRESS RELEASE – After three months in a temporary downtown facility, the Harrisburg Senators have resumed operations on City Island at Metro Bank Park. The Senators’ staff moved into the new administrative building on January 4th.

“This is one more step towards us moving into a beautiful new ballpark this April,” said Senators’ team president Kevin Kulp. “We’re excited to move into the new building and are beginning our countdown to opening day.”

The new administration building is part of the two-phase renovation to Metro Bank Park. Along with housing the staff offices, the administrative building will include the new team store, a concession stand, public restrooms that open to the Capital BlueCross Boardwalk, the new Box Office, and First Aid.

Metro Bank Park is currently undergoing renovations as part of phase II of a two-phase project announced in December 2008 by the City of Harrisburg and the Harrisburg Senators. To see pictures of the progress, please log on to http://www.senatorsbaseball.com.
