New York-Penn League President Ben Hayes indicated on Tuesday that if negotiations go well, the relocation of an existing league franchise to Norwich, CT could be announced within the next two weeks. Several teams have expressed interest, but only one is being allowed to negotiate for the keys to Dodd Stadium. No formal word yet on the team, but the Vermont Lake Monsters and Jamestown Jammers have been mentioned. Read more here.
