Dash Stadium 87 Percent Complete, Hefty Debtload Awaits

The new $40.9 million stadium for the Winston-Salem Dash is on track to be completed by April 1.  All but $5 million of the total cost for the ballpark has been billed for work completed.  $1.3 million will be used for the field, seats, and asphalt paving.   With all the borrowing and more borrowing going on here, the team will need to sell 4,300 tickets per game to pay back banks and the city.  We’ll be watching closely as the 2010 numbers come rolling in.  Read more here.
