A Mequon (WI) planning commission gave approval for a new 1,100 baseball stadium to be built on the campus of Concordia University. However, because of neighborhood complaints, a summer collegiate team would not be allowed to use it. Without ballpark funding from the summer collegiate franchise owners, the stadium will likely not get built. Concordia President Patrick Ferry has indicated that efforts will made over the next few months to try and alleviate neighborhood concerns. Read more here.
