Hot Rods Awarded Promotion of the Year by has awarded the “Promotion of the Year” to the Bowling Green Hot Rods for “What Could Have Been Night” held during the team’s inaugural season.  Rather than trying to bury it, the team capitalized on “Cave Shrimp,” an alternative nickname that proved to be surprisingly (not to us) popular with fans.  For the promotion, the team gave away Cave Shrimp t-shirts and kept a Cave Shrimp theme rolling throughout the game.  Read more here.
