The Continental Baseball League’s Texarkana Gunslingers are being sued by former field manager Steve ‘Rainbow’ Trout for not providing adequate security when he was allegedly beaten during an onfield fight between the Gunslingers and now-defunct Corpus Christi Beach Dawgs in 2008. The Gunslingers were also apparently not carrying workers’ compensation insurance at the time. Read more here.
