Work on the 8,000-seat ballark for the Northern League’s Lake County Fielders is scheduled to begin next week. As most of you know, the stadium will be located in Zion, IL near the Wisconsin border. It is expected that the stadium will take 6-7 months to complete and be ready in time for the Fielders’ 2010 inaugural season. To date, the Fielders have sold 500 season tickets. Read more here.
