Dan Beaulieu, Director of Stadium Operations for LeLacheur Park, indicates that the 11-year old home for the Lowell Spinners needs at least $300,000 in repairs, including roof improvements, a new outfield wall, and an upgraded cooling system. There is apparently $210,000 available in the ballpark capital account, and funds for a new outfield wall could be financed and repaid through a ticket surcharge that kicks in next season.
