The City of Torrington, Conn., and Our Baseball Maven are seeking to raise $100 each from 900 fans to establish a community-owned NECBL franchise in Torrington. The deadline is Sept. 15. Torrington was an NECBL host city for 11 years, until the Twisters relocated to New Bedford, Mass. after the 2008 season. Read more here.
