Phillies Ballpark Readies for 2012 Winter Classic
Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies, will host the NHL’s 2012 Winter Classic on Jan. 2 at 1:00 p.m. EST between the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Rangers. Check out a time lapse video here of the field being transformed into an outdoor hockey rink.

‘Winter Classic’ a Classic at Fenway
The NHL completed another successful Winter Classic event at an MLB ballpark, when the Boston Bruins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 in overtime in front of 38,112 fans at Fenway Park. Read more here. If we didn’t know any better, we would think this photo here was actually photoshopped.
Preparing for the NHL ‘Winter Classic’ at Fenway
It’s beginning to look a lot like hockey at Feway Park, as preparations continue for the NHL’s Winter Classic. Even in the dead of winter, Feway remains an intimate and alluring place to be.
