City Reduces Subsidy to Ports

Stockton Ports LogoThe city of Stockton (CA) and the Single-A Stockton Ports (California League) have agreed to amend the team’s contract to play at Stockton Ballpark.  Stockton officials say the changes will reduce the city’s current $400,000 annual subsidy to the team by about $112,500.  The city is restructuring its debts as part of a Chapter 9 bankruptcy.  The Ports’ contract runs through 2044.  Read more here.

’30 Days of Opening Day’ in Stockton

The promotion will begin on Tuesday, March 11th and go through Wednesday, April 9th. Stockton Ports Unveil New Alternative Logo
