The Mississippi River is rising again this spring in Davenport (IA), as crews worked Friday to build an elevated pedestrian walkway into Modern Woodmen Park, home of the Quad Cities River Bandits (Midwest League). Like last year, the completed path will take visitors over the temporary flood wall, which has been built to 22 feet above flood stage outside the stadium. Read more and view news clip here.
