Flood Waters Won’t Stop Bandits

Quad Cities River Bandits LogoThe Mississippi River is rising again this spring in Davenport (IA), as crews worked Friday to build an elevated pedestrian walkway into Modern Woodmen Park, home of the Quad Cities River Bandits (Midwest League).  Like last year, the completed path will take visitors over the temporary flood wall, which has been built to 22 feet above flood stage outside the stadium.  Read more and view news clip here.

River Bandits Pondering Addition of 4-D Theater

Cardinals Renew PDC With Redbirds, Ditch River Bandits and Muckdogs

The St. Louis Cardinals have extended their player development contract (PDC) with the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds (Pacific Coast League) through 2014.  The Cardinals are also expected to announce that they will not be renewing their PDC’s with the Single-A Quad Cities River Bandits (Midwest League) and Single-A Batavia Muckdogs (New York-Penn League).  Read more here.
