Outdoor Hockey at Rochester’s Frontier Field

Rochester Red Wings New Primary LogoThe Triple-A Rochester Red Wings (International League) and Frontier Field began hosting outdoor hockey with the Rochester Americans vs. Lake Erie Monsters (AHL) on Friday, Dec. 13.  A full slate of other games and events will take place at the facility through Sunday, Dec. 21.  Read more here.  View photos here and here.

Rochester Loses $48K with Batavia Under Its Wings

Frontier Field Under New Management

Rochester Red Wings LogoLeBeau Inc.’s contract to manage Frontier Field, home of the Triple-A Rochester Red Wings (International League), expired at the end of 2012 and will not be renewed.  Going forward, Monroe County, which owns the stadium, and the Red Wings will partner to manage the facility.  Read more here.

Rochester’s Frontier Field Sets Regular-Season Attendance Record (Without Red Wings)

PRESS RELEASE – Rochester’s Frontier Field today set an attendance record for a regular-season baseball game with 13,584 at the Pawtucket Red Sox – Empire State Yankees game featuring Yankees left-handed pitcher Andy Pettitte.
