Watertown Council Finalizes New Alcohol Policy
The summer collegiate Watertown Wizards (Perfect Game League) should now have clarity on the sale of beer at Alex T. Duffy Fairgrwound, now that the city council has finalzied a new alohol policy for the ballpark. Wizards’ Season Saved, Opposing Coucilwoman Now ‘a Team Player’
Watertown (NY) Councilwoman Roxanne Burns changed her mind last night and voted with her colleagues to renew the summer collegiate Watertown Wizards’ lease agreement for the use of Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds. Burns had been opposed to the renewal but decided to be “a team player” and give the council the super-majority vote needed to approve the deal. Read more here.
