The Double-A Akron Aeros (Eastern League) are expected to make a big announcement Tuesday that could include the unveiling of new logo and color scheme, and possibly a name change too. In 2011, the Aeros held a re-branding contest, and 67 percent of fans chose to keep the Aeros name over four other finalists — RubberDucks, Vulcans, Tire Jacks, and Gum Dippers. The Double-A Akron Aeros will have a new monster-sized dog on the menu in 2011 called the ‘Three Dog Night.” It includes a regular hot dog stuffed inside a split bratwurst, which is stuffed inside a split kielbasa.
