Top 25 Teams in Licensed Merchandise Sales

Twins to Celebrate ’48 St. Paul Saints

Storm Chasers Postpone 2nd Annual “What If … Night”
The force was not with the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers (Pacific Coast League) Saturday night, as the game and the team’s 2nd annual “What If…Night” combine with “Star Wars Night” had to be postponed because of bad weather. When the Chasers revisit the double-themed night on August 10, the players will be donning the Omaha Force gear. The Force was one of the finalists in the name-the-team contest in 2010.

Rare Baseball Card Sold for $92K
A rare baseball card found by a picker in tiny Baileyville (ME) sold at auction Wednesday for $92,000. The 1865 card of the Brooklyn Atlantics was purchased by Jason LeBlanc as an investment for his 4-year-old son, who has health problems. Read more here.

Brewers Announce ‘Design a YOUniform’ Contest Winner
On Sunday at “Brewers On Deck,” Ben Peters of Richfield (MN) was announced as the winner of the Brewers “Design a YOUniform” contest. Peters’ design will be worn by the Brewers in exhibition games on March 22 in Phoenix at Maryvale Baseball Park and on March 30 in Milwaukee at Miller Park.
