  1. How about some “neutral sites” around Mississippi for some of the early games? Maybe some nice college fields? Hattiesburg?

  2. So, Huntsville got Joe Davis Stadium going by September, 1984, and opened it on April 19, 1985. Please explain what is going on.

First, a stadium built in 1984 is a far cry from a stadium being built today. Second, while I don’t know the intricate details of the Biloxi deal, there could be challenges that Huntsville simply didn’t face. Deals can be delayed because of legal issues, land acquisition delays, construction timetables that are moved out (beyond high-demand construction periods) or extended to reduce construction costs…the list goes on and on.

  3. A year out and already pushing back opening? Oof.
