Another Public Ballpark Meeting Held in Richmond

Richmond Flying SquirrelsA crowd of about 75 showed up at a meeting in Richmond (VA) Tuesday night to hear more about the proposed Shockoe Bottom ballpark for the Double-A Richmond Flying Squirrels (Eastern League) and vote on the most positive aspects of the project.  As you would expect, there were a few skeptics in attendance.  Read more here.

  1. Interesting article in the Times Dispatch. I just hope a decision is made that will benefit all of the area. Having been to Richmond Virginia several times, that city has a lot to offer people, in many ways. I am only saying this as a visitor.
    Having been to two Richmond Flying Squirrels games, I found them to be a lot of fun and its something that is great for the community. I hope to make more games when I am in the area.
