At a press conference Tuesday, Junction City (KS) Community Baseball Inc. President Cecil Aska announced that the new summer collegiate Junction City Brigade will begin play at historic Rathert Stadium starting this summer. The summer collegiate Junction City Generals went on indefinite hiatus after the 2010 season. Read more here.

What league will this team play in or will it be an independent collegiate team?
It appears the team will be independent like the Generals, but they plan to play teams like Hays and El Dorado from the Jayhawk League, so maybe they end up there.
