Sounds Not For Sale, But Minority Investors Possible

Squelching rumors that the Triple-A Nashville Sounds (Pacific Coast League) are for sale, team CEO Frank Ward says he has no interest in selling the franchise.  However, the Sounds are apparently entertaining offers from potential minority partners.  Read more here.

    With Ottawa potentially getting a Double-A team, do any of you think the PCL will ever return to Canada? Although it sounds like Nashville might not be for sale, I can bet if the right deal came along ownership may sell. It also looks like Reno is up in the air, but with the new ballpark in Reno I can’t see that franchise moving. As for cities in Canada, Winnipeg, Vancouver, & Edmonton could all make it work.
