The St. Petersburg City Council plans to hear a proposal from developer CityScape LLC for a new Tampa Bay Rays stadium in the Carillon business park, just west of the Howard Frankland Bridge, in the Gateway area of St. Petersburg. However, the city attorney has advised council members to remain silent during the meeting, for fear the Rays might exploit council comments to break their stadium agreement. Read more here.
