PRESS RELEASE – The Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England, a summer collegiate baseball league, announced today that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with Code Beverages, thus making Code Beverages the official energy drink of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
“This partnership with Code Beverages continues to prove that the Futures League has quickly become one of the premier summer collegiate leagues in the country,” said FCBL Commissioner Chris Hall. “Code Beverages and its cutting edge brands will allow the FCBL to further enhance what is already a great fan and player experience with unique marketing opportunities.”
The sponsorship was anchored by the Goldklang Group, a sports entertainment ownership and consulting firm, whom also own the Pittsfield Suns in the FCBL.
“We are pleased to announce the new partnership with Code Beverages and all of its ground-breaking brands,” said Goldklang Group Senior Vice President Tyler Tumminia. “During our consideration process, Code Beverages demonstrated the greatest ability to not just join the FCBL as a sponsor but to become a key marketing partner for both the teams and the league as a whole.”
In addition to having signage at FCBL ballparks and being branded on all marketing material, Code Beverages will be the official sponsor of the Futures League booth at the ABCA (National Coaches Convention in Chicago).
“Code Beverages is growing its brand as a premier supplemented beverage company that has developed a line of hydration and energy drinks. These drinks are made for the professional athlete as well as the weekend warrior and the soccer mom alike. By strategically partnering with the Futures League, Code Beverages is positioning itself to become a leader in the Supplemented Beverage industry. The unique marketing and branding approach implemented by the Goldklang Group combined with their extensive experience in Minor League Baseball fits perfect with the direction of Code Beverages” said Stephen Brown CEO of Code Beverages.

Great League. Going to Torrington today for a DH and hope to make it up to the Ball Park in Main on Friday.
i think all of the leagues in the summer collegiate market place should take a look at what the FCBL is doing – what an innovative campaign across the league and all team sites. Cool and exciting stuff for sure.
as a baseball fan living in NECBL territory I have to say I am very impressed with the Futures League. They are continuing to build a strong group of teams. I went and watched a game, couldn’t tell the difference between them and my hometown Danbury Westerners.
My heart still say NECBL, but my head says FCBL…confused NEw England baseball fan…
