P-Nats Mascot on DL After Fire, Team Needs Replacement for Rest of 2012

PRESS RELEASE – The Potomac Nationals are proud to announce that on Wednesday, July 18th fans will have the chance to pick a new mascot for the remainder of the 2012 season. All mascots that have offered to help with the P-Nats will have a chance to be voted the mascot for the rest of 2012.

At the July 18th game against the Lynchburg Hillcats, the P-Nats invite fans to vote on which mascot they’d like to see for the rest of 2012. Each fan will get one vote which will be collected by Nationals staff members after each mascot is introduced before the game.

The following mascots that have been gracious enough to come down to the Pfitz and offer their services will be in attendance to be voted on:

Patty the Patriot – Prince William Ice Center, Potomac Patriots Talon – DC United Grrrounder – Harrisburg Senators Chicken — Theresa Cattlit Sym Man – Symantics Fluffy – AvantGarb Inc Uncle Slam the Eagle – Scare Force One Roller Derby Team Da-Bomb-shell – Cherry Blossom Bombshells Roller Derby Team The Pickle – Majority Whips Roller Derby Team Beelxebubba and Battlecat – Demon Cats Roller Derby Team

A reminder that Uncle Slam will be back for the 2013 Season with the Nationals after he is activated from the DL. He will be back with a brand new suit and attitude!
