Fans Pack Labatt for Rippers’ Inaugural Home Opener

its too bad that they are drawing like this. The franchise hasn’t done the best job of winning the London baseball fans over.
That photo is from first pitch. Would like to see a photo from the 2nd inning when everyone is in there seats. An opening day crowd of 2,764 is still pretty decent. In the second home game they drew 1,157, a drop off of 1,607 and this game was played on a Saturday, when most teams see there best crowd. I think if London can average anywhere from 1,700 to 2,300 they will have a sucessful franchise.
Does this look like a packed park to you? http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=232591196857142&set=a.232590113523917.50345.105931582856438&type=1&theater
I would like to see more photos, particularly of the main grandstand. I think the capacity is around 5,000, so 2,764 isn’t quite packing.
