The Wilmington (NC) City Council voted Tuesday to hire National Sports Services instead of Ripken Design as the project manager for the community’s proposed ballpark project. There were concerns raised that Ripken may have had a conflict of interest with Mandalay Baseball Properties. Read more here.

Not suprised that the great Mandalay had issue with Ripken. You had to know this ruffled their feathers. A definite conflict.

BTW, except for providing elected officials political cover, feasiblity studies are a big fat waste of time and money.
