Renovated FirstEnergy Stadium Opens for Business

After $10 million in renovations during the off season, the Double-A Reading Phillies opened the new FirstEnergy Stadium on Thursday night.  Indeed, the R-Phils really know how to create a fun and festive atmosphere.  Read more and view photos hereView more photos here.  We can’t wait to make a trip out  to Reading to check out the new digs!

  1. I love what Reading continues to do with their park. While other teams/cities constantly whine about their old parks, Reading just marches on making theirs better and better. I really wish others would take a cue from Reading, but it doesn’t seem to be happening. A lively atmosphere, a great variety of concessions, and affordable prices is what brings the fans out.
