It appears that a miracle has occured, and construction on the new stadium for the expansion Lake County Fielders is expected to begin next week. The interesting note here is that the construction location was abruptly changed to an already commercially zoned site with infrastructure in place. The stadium will be part of a new “ballpark village.” Read more here and here.
