The Bristol (CT) Park Board voted on Thursday to allow the New England Collegiate Baseball League’s Bristol Nine to make historic Muzzy Field the team’s new home. Formerly known as the American Defenders, the Nine franchise was sold and relocated to Bristol from Pittsfield, MA. Team owners will officially introduce the new franchise to the community at an event next Thursday. Read more here.
